Let’s share this: It is important for men of color to see themselves as more than what’s the stereotype. We often see negative stereotypes about men of color. W...e don’t get to see the positive sides of black men in medicine. We need to combat racism in healthcare and I believe that we need to take the initiative to increase the number of black men high above in the medical field. I want men of color seeing themselves become men in scrubs and or white coats. Can you see that? We need more black Registered Nurses, Medical Doctors/Physicians, Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Nurse Practitioners just to name a few. I solute and thank all men of color who were on the frontlines as we have not seen any shown in the media as if we do not exist..
