Hope for Happy Camp’s Vice President Adrian Guy and his grandson Jeremiah are watering trees . These three trees were planted last year by the 2019 Happy Camp... High School bleachers . Adrian donates hours and hours of volunteer time to our community . Why? His grandkids are a huge factor ! HfHC has several upcoming workdays and projects coming up . If you are willing to help in any capacity. Our community members will appreciate your efforts . Happy Camp is getting better and better . And it’s Happy Campers making the difference ! See more

Local volunteers with Hope for Happy Camp 501(c)3 nonprofit (HfHC )are working on making our community fire safe. We pulled scotch broom and cleared brush on t...he corner of Hilltop Drive and Hwy 96. The brush was so high it was difficult to see on coming traffic when pulling on to Hwy 96. Volunteers worked for three days hauling brush and flammable debris to the dump. We learned how to use a weed wenchers tool. This tool is so cool ! It pops scotch broom out with little effort . HfHC was able to purchase two of these weed wenchers and do this fire safe project with a grant from the Pacific Power Foundation . Thank you Pacific Power Foundation ! HfHC goal is to make Happy Campers aware and prepared for wild-land fires. We are also handing out Listos Emergency Training information this summer .
