A chapter has come to an end.... Most of you know my story so ill keep this short. Over five and a half years ago I decided to open my own business with little to no experience. With my love for art, my goal was to exist as an Art Gallery and have a tattoo station on the side. A place to create art and be open to the public. With other shops not willing or ... able to take me on I made the biggest decision of my life. I signed and 3yr lease at 26years old with about 30 tattoos of experience under my belt. As you can imagine the first year was a struggle. And with the backlash of almost every other local shop and artist for not doing it the "right way" I had very little help or advice from my peers. I learned quickly how cutthroat and unforgiving this tattoo industry is that first year. Either way, failure wasn't an option. Doubt has always motivated me so I sucked it up and worked harder. By reading a ton of books, watching every video and even messaging artist I never met in different states I continued to learn. And after the first two years I slowly started building a steady clientele and for once I wasn't losing money. I had finally earned some respect and even had some local artist ask to come work with me. Now getting close to 6 years I've developed team and we've grown out of this building. The photo is where it all started. My solo station and little experience. The feeling is bitter sweet but it's time to say goodbye. This building watched me grow. The countless hours of conversations, practicing this craft, and memories I will never forget. Thank you to EVERYONE that has supported me over these years that were so pivotal in my growth as an artist. You have blessed me with this career and I am forever thankful. Love you all.
