Dear friends, We are overwhelmed by all the love, the messages, the memories and the pictures that you have been sharing over the last 2 weeks. We have reached our maximum capacity for to-go orders for both Friday and Saturday. It has been very challenging to keep up with the many voice mails, we might not be able to get to all of them so if you left us a message and we do not return your call, we apologize in advance, we will try our best to accommodate everyone. Dear friends, After 12 years of many amazing memories and hurdles, we are sad to share the news that Bistro 29 will close permanently on Saturday, April 25th. As many of you know, during those past 12 years, we have overcome many challenges (a recession, two fires, a 3 year long lawsuit and now the corona virus pandemic!). To quote Anthony Bourdain, If anything is good for pounding humility into you permanently, it’s the restaurant business, that is the best lesson we hav...e learned from this experience. Our family has had the great fortune to work together, with AMAZING employees, for AMAZING customers. Many of you have become family to us and our kids, you will be forever in our life. Thank you for the loyalty, support and friendship, the list is too long but you know who you are, we will never forget the memories we all shared. This is a very difficult decision but we feel it is the best decision for our family at this time. We would have loved to have you in the dining room one last time before we close but the current circumstances will understandably not allow it. We will be offering to-go food until the 25th in the same format as what we have been using for the last month, so please, keep us busy during those last days! (you can use your gift certificates) At this time, Brian is planning on keeping the idea of catering and other opportunities as a chef so keep him in mind!
