C. Reese 5.0 out of 5 stars Thanks! Your computer screen readers were a life saver... Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2020 Size: Blue Dynamic Powe...r (50 Year and older)Verified Purchase I have just gotten some new glasses (after 10 years) and I couldn't afford to replace the progressive lenses, so I was stuck with the traditional bifocals. But I could finally see again... Still within days I discovered that I was still having eyestrain/headaches while working at my PC and now I was getting a sore neck at well. A sign of old age? Since I write for websites for a living, this was very troubling. It wasn't until a friend noticed me constantly tilling my head up and down to see the computer screen clearly that the light bulb went off! I wasn't seeing the computer screen in focus. I needed some kind of close up "computer glasses". So after a lot to digging around online and searching on Amazon and comparing a lot of other brands, I stumbled across your clip-ons. I almost didn't buy them but the lightweight design was a no-brainer since I would have to wear your product most of the day. Plus the half-lens style lets me still use my bottom bifocal for close in work. Yay! I got them last week and they are great. Best thing ever. I have been showing them off at work (and yes some people laugh but once they try them on, they want a pair too!) Better to be called "silly six eyes" than lose anymore productivity (and income) due to eye fatigue and headaches.

Shown here I'm delivering Sunglasses outside my Optical office door. Even from 6 feet away I can spot and adjust eyeglasses with reasonable accuracy. Wearing gloves, mask and keeping everything sanitized while maintaining social distancing keeps everyone safe. The parking lot design lends itself to " Drive-thru Optical Service."

Are You an Eyeglass Fogger or Defogger? While waiting in line to go into a store for groceries I’ve been noticing a lot of people wearing both masks and eyeglasses that are having a fogging issue. To reduce or remove condensed moisture is helpful, so I thought I would share one of my methods to keep the lenses clear. My favorite technique to defog lenses when I don’t have a can of carnauba wax is using Chapstick Classic. It has carnauba wax in the formulae.... Important First Thing: Wash eyeglasses with Dawn dishwashing soap. Apply Chapstick Classic by smudging the lens surface. With you finger tips rub the wax across the entire lens surfaces-front and back. Next, use a tissue to rub and wipe excess wax off the lens surfaces, and finally, use a micro-fiber cloth to polish the lenses clear. This Defogging procedure is usually good for a day or two with me. Remember, micro-fiber cloths can be washed and air-dried. Carnauba wax repels dust, helps as a defogger and covers up micro scratches on the surface.

COVID-19 is a real problem, so currently I only see a limited number of people at a time, and by appointment. This will last as long as the "social distancing" is in place. I need to keep the office as safe as possible for everyone. Thanks for your understanding. Bill Pandemic Hours of Operation: I will be available to continue to straighten out or repair eyeglasses as needed during the normal hours of operation Monday through Saturday. I live only a few minutes from the office, so calling in for an appointment will allow me to spend time at home and go into the office for the optical service. I think it goes without saying, but if you are experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness, including fever or cough, seek medical help first.

I decided to have my 100th pizza at We're Pouring at 524 E. Glenoaks Blvd., Glendale, CA 91207, on Valentine's Day. My office is next door to the restaurant, and since the opening of We're Pouring around 3 years ago I began to count my NY style thin crusted pizzas. Great pizza deserves to be counted!

When Marcus walked into my office looking for Safety Glasses I could tell he was more than a law enforcement officer. I told him I retired my 5th degree Black Belt, and I sensed he was also a martial artist because he looked familiar from my movie experiences. I was right. Marcus was a "bad guy" in moves for over 10 years working in Chinese, Thai, Japanese and American movies. Ong Bak was one of the first movies staring Muay Thai Martial Arts star Tony Jaa. The Tai Warrior. Here is a snap shot of Marcus, the best bad guy in the film and in the ring against Tony. The fight choreography was insane and Marcus vs Tony at the end was epic...in martial arts circles. Marcus is a "GOOD" guy and I wish him well in his work with his new WileyX's. https://youtu.be/KPLwoIn64xU

Father/Son Opticians, Bill and Bobby Valentine, after a visit to Vision Expo in Las Vegas. We saw great new eyewear, we're brought up to date with new optical product info, and met with both new and old friends in the field of optics.

NOW, an "open access provider" for vision insurance like VSP and EyeMed I work with an online web application service that allows me to seamlessly check a patient's eligibility and benefits, as well as, provides me with the ability to electronically file claims to increase the quality of care and service I provide at the office. As an open source insurance provider it frees my practice from the contractual restraints of insurance. I can choose the materials to sell, the optical labs that will do the best work, and keep my fees for products at affordable pricing.

I was asked to take a selfie with Sharon on my right, wearing a Mo frame, and Sharon on my left, wearing a Vintage Frame I had in the shop. The quality of the Anti-reflection Coatings makes it look like the eyeglasses don't have lenses in them. Thank you to all the people who have referred someone to me this year. Affordable Eyewear Expertly Fitted includes the complicated prescriptions that Costco and Warby Parker won't fill...

The Matrix first appeared in 1999, and Miguel has been called Morpheus from time to time because of his resemblance to the character. I helped to complete the ensemble with the right eyeglasses. Go Morpheus! Valentine Optical: Affordable Eyewear Expertly Fitted

Check out these beautiful frames by Voyager. They take on the most amazing colors based upon the light and the angle. Some people just throw their favorite sunglasses in a drawer and forget about them just because the lenses are scratched. The good thing is we have a lot of experience and replacement can be a lot less expensive than you think. With summer coming up, don't hesitate to bring in your old favorites to get a fresh pair of lenses. We can even change the color of your lenses if you want to try a new look! Enjoy the weekend everybody.
