***LONG POST FAMILY UPDATE** We've got a story to share with y'all-- Way back in January our mama said "I'm going to Mt. Rushmore to see the fireworks on the 4TH of July this year and I'd love for you to come" -- The thing is, mom never wants to leave home, so it was settled, we were going! None of us had ever been to the Black Hills before, or any of South Dakota for that matter. So each of us sisters, and mum made our own plans to meet at Mount Rushmore on July 3rd. Come... hell or high water. For us it meant a WHAM-BAM closing of the blueberry season, arranging farm management while we were away, and fast packing!! Our family road-tripped from Salt Lake City to South Dakota and we visited many little towns along the way, like: Rock Springs, Casper, Hill City, Rapid City, Deadwood, and Keystone, South Dakota. We saw a part of the U.S.A. we have never seen and nearly the whole trip was unplugged. -- It was a family trip we will never forget, there were so many moments and sights its almost too much to remember (check out our Stories the next few days for pics from our road trip) we are so thankful for the experience, we are thankful for family, for friends, and thankful to live in this beautiful U.S.A. And we were thinking about y'all too! Thinking about the bitter sweet end of blueberry season and saying goodbye for a time to our visitors but we are working hard and planning for our Summertime Offerings so STAY TUNED to our feed because we are back on the ranch!
