Big Basin Cabins, Grocery Store, and Gift Shop

Most of you know by now that Big Basin Redwoods State Park and Little Basin Redwoods State Park were both severely damaged in the CZU Complex Fire and are closed until further notice. Rosie and Keith, lived onsite with their respective families at Little Basin and unfortunately lost everything in the fire. We created a Go Fund Me page to help Rosie, Keith and the other employees get back on their feet. Any contribution will be very much appreciated by the Team at Big Basin Tent Cabins, Store & Cafe. Fun Fact: Redwood tree roots are very shallow, often only five or six feet deep. But they make up for it in width, sometimes extending up to 100 feet from the trunk. They thrive in thick groves, where the roots can intertwine and even fuse together. #redwoods #hiking #adventure #optoutside
