Meet Our Team! Each month, we are pleased to introduce you to a member of our stellar BGCNLT staff. December Spotlight: Alyssa Meet Alyssa! She currently serves as a Youth Development Professional at the Truckee Site and brings a TON of fun, outdoor experience to the team. Originally from Minnesota, Alyssa graduated from Vermillion Community College and went on to work in China facilitating outdoor education with international students. From there, she traveled around Southeast Asia and landed in Alaska, where she worked as a glacier canoe guide. She moved to Tahoe at the beginning of 2020 and wanted to pursue a career in youth development. She has a passion for working with children and aspires to pursue a degree in School Psychology to assist at-risk youth. Welcome to the team, Alyssa!
