I know this is going to be SHOCKING news... There’s heavy competition if you're in the market to buy a home. A recent @redfinrealestate survey of 24 major markets in the U.S. said 78.9% of homes in #SanDiego had multiple offers.... Salt Lake City 90% Bay Area 77.1% Denver 73.9% Seattle 73.8% It's definitely challenging to be a buyer in this market. However, contrary to popular belief it's not always the highest offer that gets accepted. We have found that that’s even MORE true in this market. Writing creative offers and building positive relationships with the sellers is vital to getting your offer accepted. We've been successful at getting ALL of our buyers who are ready to buy in this crazy market into homes. Happy Monday! #MarketMonday [[Feb. 24, 2021]]

I was a week into being a parent when this picture was taken. Shelby and I always laugh about the fact that the hospital lets brand new parents leave with their newborn infant. Not only was the first ride home in the car beyond terrifying, but then we got home and looked at each other like... what do we do now?!... Now almost 16 months into parenthood, I look at this little boy (basically teenager) running around and wonder, where did my tiny baby go?. I’m sure I’ll have that wonder the rest of my life. #ThrowbackThursday

2021 has been off to a roaring start. Even though I have now spent more time at home than ever before, I also feel busier than I’ve been in a long time. All that to say, I’m not getting out much and #WhereAreYouWednesday posts are basically all from my home.... Living in southern CA, I feel spoiled by the amount of spectacular sunsets we get to witness. They may feel overdone to some, but I will continue to take pictures of them on my iPhone 7 because WOW! Happy hump day. Hope everyone finishes out the week strong!

What do a snake plant & a carbon monoxide detector have in common? Snake plants have the ability to absorb excessive amounts of carbon monoxide! Today’s #TipTuesday is if you are thinking of selling your home, CA law states that carbon monoxide detectors should be installed in the living areas on all levels, preferably in the immediate vicinity of the bedrooms.... You must also have smoke alarms installed on each floor and in each bedroom. If you don't have smoke and carbon monoxide detectors properly installed it can trigger a reinspection which means more $$$ out of your pocket! Even if you're not planning on selling anytime soon, it's an important step to ensure the health and safety of everyone living in your home! Also... buy a snake plant. They’re aesthetically pleasing, super easy to keep alive, & helps clean your air
