Patient suffered mandibular fracture due to a motor vehicle crash. The fractures are near the mental nerve on the right mandible as seen in the picture. Two plates were placed in order to reduce the fracture to it's original position without any complications or nerve damage. A patient presented with large swelling on the anterior floor of the mouth. On the CT scan, there is a large hypodense mass on the anterior floor of the mouth consistent with the salivary stone obstruction of the submandibular gland. The stone was removed surgically and the duct was sutured open to prevent stricture.
