So, pre covid, had you ever considered a #microwedding ? Way back in 2017 these two had just 24 guests but were able to make their wedding a whole #weddingweekend enjoyed with the people they love most in the world! And yes, their wedding was a blast and all 24 people were up and dancing!

#weddingplanning tip of the day Tell your planner everything! Over share, we love this stuff! I recently coordinated a wedding and on the day-of was surprised to find a van full of decor my team was supposed to set up. Now, I never mind setting up all of the amazing decor and DIYs you worked so hard on, but it’s something I need to know about in advance, so I make sure I have enough time and enough help to make sure it all gets done. What’s important to you is important to me and I want to make sure it’s perfect.#diywedding

#weddingplanning tip of the day: First Looks are the best! I’ve always loved #firstlook from a #weddingplanner perspective, but when I got married I didn’t want to do it. To me weddings are all about the little moments. You won’t remember it in a conscious stream but rather little moments, and I wanted that moment where my soon to be husband sees me walking down the aisle for the first time. My photographer told me straight up no you have to do a first look. It ended up being my favorite part of the whole. It was the only time I got to be with my husband, just the two of us all day. In a first look you can kiss, hug, laugh, and be you which makes for the best photos. At the ceremony you don’t get to have your authentic reaction to seeing your fiancé, and that pure emotion shows in the photos. @ Park Hyatt Aviara Resort
