Happy Saturday Beauties! I washed my hair and actually blow dried it instead of leaving it to air dry and looking like I stuck my finger in a light socket. I also got real fancy and put on eye liner for the first time in....uh...8 bazillion days? It's amazing how much more "myself" I feel ... Beauties, we miss you so much. I miss you so much!!! Listening to the governer speak today about the how and when the 4 phases of businesses will re-open had me almost in tears. Phase 3 (that's us) is in months, not weeks. Months! And that is dependent on so many factors, include how well we all follow the SIP orders. ... We know how much this sucks for you and your hair. We are in it too. While my kiddos may have had their hair cut, I have not. Nor have I had color, just like you! You guys, my little sprinkle of grey has tripled (or even quadrupled!) during this SIP! Essential vs Non Essential Truth talk here Beauties, I had a pretty big emotional slump the last two weeks. I felt so defeated that the business @veronica.thebeautyspot and I have worked so hard to build, could so quickly be labeled non essential and completely shut down for who knows how long. But then I realized 2 things: first, girl put your ego down! We are all in this together. And second, that spiral of thinking was not bringing me joy and boy was I missing o...ut of some really beautiful things! And in taking a page from Marie Kondo, I decided to say thank you and goodbye.
