It's Election Day! If you haven't already voted, you can vote in person or drop off your mail-in ballot at your polling place or in a secure drop box. If you aren't yet registered to vote or need to update your registration, California offers SAME DAY voter registration. Find your assigned polling place at the link below, bring a photo ID, and let the poll workers know that you need a conditional voter registration. Thank you to everyone who volunteered to text bank and phone bank to get out the vote! At the center of IT CAN’T HAPPEN HERE is a small-town newspaper editor (played by David Strathairn) who journeys from complacency into action. Listen to our free audio drama, available through November 8. http://bit.ly/ICHHplaylist

On Halloween, a day all about dressing up, we thought it would be fun to look back at this interview with Michael Krass about the costume design for HADESTOWN. HADESTOWN was workshopped at Berkeley Rep's Ground Floor Summer Residency Lab before going on to Broadway. We miss being in a room with all of these incredible artists and are thinking of our designers and technicians especially. Maybe you'll be inspired by all the different sources this designer drew from! Let us know if you're dressing up this year, and have a safe and happy Halloween!

While we don't have live theatre in our buildings right now, we're thrilled to welcome a different kind of art into our space! We've partnered with the Haight Street Art Center to display poster art from two of their latest exhibitions. Just in time for Election Day next Tuesday, these posters wrestle with the history (and present) of voting rights and voter suppression in America. Stop by our campus on Addison Street to see the posters displayed, or check out the exhibits online: https://haightstreetart.org/

"This production works beautifully as theater for the ears, with meticulous sound design (by Paul James Prendergast) and a cast of 16... The mix of narration and dialogue makes for clear, efficient storytelling, conjuring mind-sets and conveying forward motion." The New York Times on IT CAN'T HAPPEN HERE Don't miss this "enduringly tempting cautionary tale"! http://bit.ly/ICHHplaylist
