Within the 10 short days that the City of Berkeley vaccination site has been operating, our incredible members have already spent hundreds of hours providing vaccinations and other services. Our assistance at this site expands the daily patient capacity by up to thirty percent, enabling 1,000+ people to be vaccinated each day! #covidvacccine #frontlineworkers #healthcareworkers #healthcare #healthcareheroes

The BMRC has been given the incredible opportunity to get involved with not only post-vaccination monitoring with University Health Services but also the regional vaccine rollout in the City of Berkeley! Today, several of our members were trained on how to administer both the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. Paramedics from the Berkeley Fire Department gave live demonstrations and provided equipment for skills practice. We will begin vaccinating at the Golden Gate Fields site very soon! #covidvaccine #vaccination #frontlineworkers #frontlineheroes #healthcareworkers #healthcareheroes
