Berkeley Journal of Entertainment & Sports 20.10.2021

BJESL and the Berkeley Law Alumni Center have put together an outstanding list of topics and panelists for the 2nd Annual Berkeley Law Sports and Law Conference on Friday, April 15th at the beautiful University Club in California Memorial Stadium! Speakers will include industry-leading names such as Golden State Warriors General Manager Bob Myers, MLS President and Deputy Commissioner Mark Abbott, IMG/WME Senior Vice President of Litigation Riche McKnight, Cal Football Head C...oach Sonny Dykes, as well as various other counsel from the LA Lakers, San Jose Sharks, SF 49ers, Oakland Raiders, Seattle Seahawks, and Pac-12. The Conference will also include lunch, drinks, and a VIP reception afterwards. 7.5 MCLE credits will also be offered. We would be delighted if you could make it. The NCAA tournament begins March 15th and BJESL is putting on the biggest Boalt Hall March Madness pool ever. Buy in: $10 Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.... While the NCAA has not released seeding yet, you can already sign up a bracket! Hey all! Just a quick heads up on a really fun event the Boalt Hall Soccer Club has organized. On October 20th, the LLMs and JDs will be playing each other in three separate soccer matches! For those not interested in playing, no worries, there will also be a variety of lawn games, drinks, and food on the sidelines. This event should be a fun and unique way to meet LLMs!
