Today is World Hearing day! The theme for World Hearing Day 2021 is "Hearing care for ALL! Screen. Rehabilitate. Communicate" ... Whether a normal part of aging, a result of noise exposure, or due to genetics/disease, hearing loss is not seen as "normal", meaning people tend to hide it (or not acknowledge it) and therefore not discuss it with others.
