Shabby Chic/French Country Farmhouse End Table/Coffee Table $75 This adorable little table would be the perfect addition to add a little character to your home. I updated this piece with a perfectly subtle custom green hue with beige and grey undertones. The greige undertones and the distressed floral decoupage add the sweetest "French Country Farmhouse" vibe to this great little table. ... Could be used as a coffee or end table, nightstand, or just a cute accent table. Delicately distressed, hardware updated, and sealed with a protective clear coat. Measures as follows: H: 20" W: 27 1/4" D: 27 1/4"

SOLD This started as an already upcycled bathroom vanity. It had been painted a bright yellow and black and was previously used as a bar. It needed a lot of cleanup and took quite a bit of elbow grease to strip the top of all that black paint and yellow design. Afterward, however, it revealed a beautiful natural wood that I stained with a custom blend to create the perfect dark and rustic look. The base was repainted with another custom color. My intended client said she w...anted a cool, blueish gray chalk paint, so that's what I did here. I also dry-brush distressed with a charcoal glaze and a pinch of bronze gilding wax for depth. I sealed the stained top with two coats of polyurethane for protection and, for the base, a smooth coat of clear wax. Overall, I think the piece came out wonderfully, and it looks great in my client's space!

My name is Natalie, but for some odd reason, I am known around here as "Berb." My husband, Brian, is also known as "Berb." I don't know how it started, or why, all I know is that this silly nickname has stuck with us over the years. Another thing that has stuck with us, is our love for handcrafted, upcycled and refinished furniture and home decor. I discovered my love for furniture upcyling about 5 or 6 years ago when I was attempting to decorate my house "on the cheap." ... I refinished a lot of our existing, beat-up furniture, and even rescued some pieces from the trash. I always loved the feeling of standing back and looking at something I've created or rescued. The phrase "one man's trash is another man's treasure" couldn't be more true in my case. I absolutely love creating, restoring and repurposing. Not only is the process for me quite calming, but the payoff is always worth it. So, a few months ago my husband and I decided to take this love outside of our own home and start selling some refinished pieces online. So, here we are. Berb and I work well as a team. Anything I struggle with, he can figure out. Not only can he repair, stabilize, and reinforce, but he has such an awesomely creative and artistic eye for original pieces. Between the two of us, there really is nothing we can't accomplish. So, let's give this thing a try and see where it takes us. I am sure there will be quite the learning curve, but hey... everyone's gotta start somewhere, right? I'd say right here is a great place. Let's do this. See more
