Chris Bensinger saw an opportunity to own a two-bedroom condominium, the first one built on the upper west side of New York City, in 1983 for a few thousand dollars as a down payment. From there, he built a 25-year career in the field of residential real estate. He was a founding partner of DBL Realtors in Los Angeles in 1987. From an agent to senior management, Chris oversaw thousands of transactions until 2004 when DBL was sold to Sotheby’s International Realty. Chris stayed on through the transition and then retired in 2007 to go on to produce Broadway shows, write a novel and work on non-profits. That was until his son, Jack grew up and hung his own license at Rodeo Realty, a fantastic independent company much like the DBL of old. So, it hit him one night when they were all having a family dinner. ‘What if I got my license again and we worked together?’ And that was that. Chris and Jack formed a partnership. Chris is incredibly excited to be working with his son in real estate representing home buyers and sellers in Los Angeles.
