Parks and Recreation 01.04.2021

Introducing a brand new series of outdoor exercise classes for adults 18-59! Taught by fitness instructor Connor Ching, all of these will take place at Barrett basketball court, with COVID-safe social distance guidelines (face coverings required). Limited number of spots available. Must be registered before participating. For more info on each class, go to www.belmont.gov/register and enter the word "Fit" in the search bar. Last week Belmont had it's first ever Auto Clinic geared toward youth. Starting with 4 major safety rules to always follow while working on a car, they progressed to learning valuable skills such as how to change the windshield wipers, using a socket, changing the air filter, doing a full-service oil change, and how to change a tire, of course! @ Belmont, California

AARP Volunteers are ready to provide free *remote* tax preparation services for people who are over 55 and low income. Preference is especially given to those who were not able to get their tax return processed last year due to the coronavirus. If you have elderly neighbors or acquaintances who cannot get their Tax returns processed online and are social distancing, please have them call 650-517-6670. Spaces are limited!
