Bella Woof is looking for an EXPERIENCED Dog Groomer for a full-time position at Little Italy’s premier Grooming, Training and Pet Supply Boutique, Bella Woof Spa. Bella Woof offers a competitive salary range, $16 - $21 hourly rate, plus tips and is based on level of grooming experience. Professional Dog Grooming experience is required. Grooming / Bathing service responsibilities include: Shamp...ooing Brushing/Combing De-matting without shaving Fluff Drying Nail Grinding Ear Cleaning/Plucking Teeth Brushing Gland Expression Face, Feet & Sanitary Groom/Haircut Full Groom/Haircut De-shed Treatment Requirements: Applicant MUST have working knowledge of how to perform all dog bathing and grooming services in a professional or school setting: Shampooing, brushing, combing, de-matting without shaving, fluff drying, nail grinding, ear cleaning/plucking, teeth brushing, gland expression, face/feet/sanitary grooms, full groom/haircut, de-shed treatment. Please do not apply if you do not have professional grooming experience or training. Applicant must be professional, punctual, reliable and organized. Excellent customer service skills and a team player attitude are required. Retail and cashier skills a plus. Additional responsibilities include general cleaning and maintenance of grooming spa and supplies. Position requires the ability to stand, move and bend over for several hours while adhering to safety policies and procedures. Applicant must be able to work with a variety of dog breeds and lift at least 50 lbs. Applicant must have basic knowledge of dog behavior, hair & skin types and proven animal handling skills. Candidate will be expected to perform a Technical Bath & Groom as part of the interview process. Candidate will go through a 90 day probationary period after hiring.
