So THIS happened on Saturday!!! And we were bawling our eyes out (from about 25 feet away) during the entire wedding ceremony. Congratulations again to Sabrina and Mark, who got married this past weekend under the Wishing Tree in a beautiful ceremony officiated by Sabrina’s sister Jaime. Sabrina had written to us about a week earlier asking if we could help her complete a wish she’d hung on the tree at last year’s Belden Barns Cork Hunt. The original w...ish? Love. More specifically, to reconnect with her college boyfriend (Mark) who ended up calling her a month later...from Michigan where he was working in public health. Within a few months, Mark had sold his house and the adorable couple moved to Petaluma together, where they got engaged in January. A city hall wedding was planned for early April, but when Corona virus struck, the couple realized that they had to get creative to make their dream come true. Another spectacular Grape Stomp in the books! We picked, we stomped ourselves silly, we scrambled for beans, smiled at lovely new wishes on the tree, feasted on freshly-picked fruits and veggies and shared our latest and greatest vintage with friends, family and wine club members new and old. Thank you to everyone who helped make yesterday so gloriously successful, especially @sonomamountainfarmers for setting up the produce tasting stand and shop and @paosalamanca for taking such fun photos.
