Face Covering Modifications Our goal is to keep you safe and healthy while in our shop. We have been informed by State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology than we can follow our county’s regulations as far as face covering goes and El Dorado County Office of Public Health has not mandated face coverings. With that being said, we do realize that social distance is impossible while performing salon services, but with our faces covered all day long we have found we are exhausted ...and unable to perform some certain processes due to constrictions. So we will be relaxing the Face covering guideline a little bit. 1. You come first, we respect Everyone's opinion of this Pandemic and will respect your wishes. 2. We will be asking if you would like us to wear a mask. 3. We also would ask that IF you have been ill, fever, headache, nausea or shortness of breath along with any travel for 14 days, please reschedule your appt. As we will do the same for you. 4. We MAY take your temperature when arriving. 5. If the shop has 8+ people, all will be required to wear a mask. 6. IF you want us to wear a mask we will not be performing a blow dry. 7. We will personally be wearing a face covering when washing your hair and cutting hair (bangs/fringe/beard) around your face. Modifications and adjustments seem to be made weekly so we will keep you posted of all changes. Stay clean, healthy and safe, and thank you for your patronage. COPY AND PASTE MESSAGE BELOW: - Governor Newsom, I'm writing to respectfully inquire how the cosmetology industry would qualify for stage 3 opening? I dont understand how you can prove that any cosmetologist would be endangering the public health by being allowed to operate their businesses. Your office is aware cosmetologists are required to be licensed and certified in disinfecting between clients and are held to a much higher standard than other professions you have deemed essential. I fail to see the logic in letting Californians roam around our local Walmarts and Targets with filth apparent on multiple surfaces with minimal disinfecting from staff. These state certified, entrepreneurial professionals have dedicated themselves to their chosen field, they have met every goal the state has laid out for them, and have been better for it. They had faith in the system that they've paid into, and had the belief that the system would return that faith, respect and even protect and advocate for them. Quite honestly, you should hold these small business owners to a higher standard, you have prepared them for that and I have every confidence they would not only meet but exceed even your rigid standards. Sadly, In your passivity you're not holding them to any standard because you, our state leader, have tied their hands and forced them to watch businesses they have spent years building collapse. You, sadly are failing a billion dollar industry that in all actuality, from the certification your office required, was more prepared for covid than most basic health care facilities. For the health of others and for swift resolution of this pandemic I will be cancelling all appointments until April 16th. I ask that you please be patient and I will reach out to you in the following week to get you rescheduled. Please respect that almost my entire clientele needs to reschedule and most of... you have specific needs in regards to time in my chair, and accommodations to work schedules. I need time to work through the long list of ladies and gentlemen that I am doing my best to serve. What this means for you: -Your roots will be 1-3 more weeks more grown out than before. -You might not get you color done before that special event or birthday. -You might feel so desperate that you need to color you own hair. (Please let me know and I can send you your formula. This applies to on the scalp tint touch ups) -You may be double booked upon your return. -I may recommend that you see Veronica when she is in on Thursdays. -You may feel the need to look for a new stylist all together. -Please understand that during this time I may be quieter than usual due to working extended hours. CLOSED FOR BUSINESS: COVID 19 UPDATE After much deliberation, I’ve made a hard decision to close my business for the rest of the week. Like all of us, I’d like to see this virus get under control as soon as possible so our lives can go back to normal. I will also not be scheduling any additional appointments in the month of March in hopes to keep the salon at a low attendance and will continue business as usual April 1st. To accommodate my existing clients, I will be taking n...ew clients a referral basis only until May 1. While I do understand that many of you are off work available to come in for your hair appointment, I think that it is important that we all prioritize the health of the most vulnerable over hair. Please bear with me as the next few weeks will be at a high volume and I am only one person, I will do my very best to get you all in as soon as possible. In the mean time, gift certificates are available and if you need product please reach out and we will figure out a way to accommodate your requests. Please stay healthy during this unprecedented time and continue to love on those around you. I am choosing to see this as a blessing from God to have a few days to recenter, refocus, and love on my family.

BEAUTY BY BIGELOW COVID 19 UPDATE As of right now, I am still open for business. All stylists at Dimensions Salon are taking every measure to protect our patrons and our own safety. Every client will be asked to please wash their hands when they enter the salon, and all workstations will be wiped down and sanitized with hospital grade disinfectant between each client. I ask that if you are feeling ill in anyway, or you have a compromised immune system, that you kindly resched...ule your appointment and all cancellations due to illness will not be subject to my 24 hour cancellation policy. I also understand that many of my clients will not be able to attend their appointment because they do not have childcare, these clients will also not be subject to my 24 hour cancellation policy. It is appreciated however if you can give me as much advance notice as possible if you need to change or cancel your appointment. We are all monitoring the situation as closely as possible. And in the event of a shut down, I will reach out to all scheduled clients directly as well as post on social media. I appreciate all of the support that I have been receiving from my clients! It is because of you that I am able to work my dream job and I truly appreciate it. Please love on the people in your community. Even if it’s at a safe distance. Love on the small business owners, the restaurants, and all of those affected.
