Little bit of false lash appreciation I always get asked why I use false lashes on many of my looks, and I feel as if the results speak for themselves lol but if not, then here ya go This look can be seen in the bottom photograph, one side with false lashes applied and one side with mascara only. The eye to the left of the photograph is only wearing Urban Decay Perversion Mascara - the eye to the right also has the same mascara, but with Ardell Lashes Demi Wispies... over top. that is why lol. Re-do time! Every so often I like to pick out a look that I have in my portfolio that I remember not quite liking or getting just the way I wanted, and recreating it just to test myself and see how my skills have changed. This time around, a patriotic cut crease that I recreated from @_claudiayvette on Instagram when I first started my account there. Ima be honest, the picture was nothing less than terrible BUT we're back again today to compare notes My original phot...o was uploaded maybe 8 months ago or so, and this was done today- March 6th, 2016. Caution: it's about to get real Amy Winehouse up in here Testing out a new eyeliner, the Tartiest Clay Paint Liner by tarte cosmetics (Scroll to the bottom for product details)... First off, I LOVE THIS STUFF. if you're a hardcore eyeliner wearer, get at this. Not so much for beginners as it is a strange (but AMAZING) liquid/gel formula, and it comes with a paint style type brush that some people may not be typically familiar with. Truthfully there really isn't anything that I didn't like about this product, other than the $24 price tag, but it is definitely worth it in my opinion. Compared to the Laura Mercier Tightline Cake (also priced at $24) that I've been using for a few months now, the Tartiest is a clear winner and just may be working its way into Holy Grail territory. until I get the chance to test out if this eyeliner is "life-proof," I'm gonna give it an 8/10. I've judged this product by presentation, formula, application and overall dollar value.
