Meet the people at Bear Valley Community Healthcare District... Behind the Mask... Meet Kara Eddings, Kara has been with the district for 5 years. Kara currently serves as the Lead Patient Access Clerk. Her primary job is overseeing the Patient Access areas of the front lobby of the main hospital, Emergency Room, Family Health Clinic, Rural Health Clinic and Physical Therapy. Kara is a working supervisor so you will see her from time to time working in the front lobby or wher...ever else she is needed. Kara’s favorite part about working at BVCHD is getting to know her patients on a personal level and helping them navigate healthcare and other situations when she can. At home Kara has two children, a son age 8 and a daughter age 6. She has a dog named Charlie and a cat named Bhageera. She loves the beach as much as the mountains and is thankful that she gets to live here in Southern California and experience both. She enjoys kayaking, yoga and reading. Kara is BVCHD’s Key Champion for our annual Polar Plunge campaign and has led the team for the past few years and is willing to be the first one into the freezing lake!
