The holiday season is upon us, get those quilts to us soon! Everyone has been using their free time to make tops, so we expect to fill our schedule early this year We will be closed sat oct 3, as we'd have an outside commitment. We are here every day other than then, 9 til 3, and by appointment
Hey all, still here and still quilting. We're taking and sending quilts by mail and we're doing roadside (parkinglot) pickup and drop off if you prefer. Just give us a call! Remember all of your favorite small businesses in this time, we want to have them all still around when this ends.

Wish fewer people and more space, the shop is "safer" than home. So Ill be crashing here periodically during the crisis. I will take quilting via mail and mail it back to you. Try to think of ways to keep your favorite small businesses going during these times. See if they can do anything via mail. Perhaps buy a gift certificate for future use, etc. We want our favorite places to still be there when this is all over =]
We are open, and will remain open through the crisis, unless and until someone here gets ill. If that happens, we will let you know. All this down time from canceled activities is a great chance to piece some tops, right? So feel free to bring in your projects 9-3 , 7 days a week. If you prefer, we do take quilts by mail. Just send us your top and back (and binding fabric or batting if you wish (reminder, we do not take pieced batting, Mountain Mist or Fairfield brand...s.) Please include your name and phone #. We will call you to discuss patterns and threads and give you an estimate, just like if you had come in . Hope you and yours continue to remain safe during this time Vivs, Russ and Dougal See more
Gas at the corner is $2.99
We are having some phone and internet work done on 2/14. We will be open but you may not be able to reach us by phone or internet for a few hours. Come on down anyway =]
Happy New Year one and all. Vivs will be in on Wed if you want to pick up or drop off. 2 more over alls and we're caught up. Russ has 2 customs (one of his shortest backlogs in years.) Great time to bring in tops!
All the Holiday Must Haves got out. Back at the machines tomorrow for all those who need tops done. Happy Holidays to all!
We will be closed Thursday for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We will return to our regular 9-3 hours on Friday. We wish you and yours a joyful holiday! In honor of Black Friday, All Over Long Arm Quilting will be 20% off from Friday through Monday the second. This offer applies only to the quilting charge for all over (edge to edge) work, and only on new orders brought in on the above listed days. May not be combined with other offers.
We are down to about 2.5 weeks of backlog. If you have em, bring em in folks! Still time to have it for the holidays! Also great time to bring in projects you want for Jan. Or sewing projects , like quilt repair, or making a memory quilt.
We're currently at 4 weeks turn around, If you need something done for the holidays, get it in now! We can take 10-15 more quilts and get them out in time. On a similar note, if you want something for after the holiday, or early Jan, it is time to get those in, as we are starting to get in quilts "not for the holiday" which will cause a backup into Jan
Neighbor's dog, lost by the shop. Please keep an eye out
Someone shared this elsewhere today, and so I thought I'd bring it in here again. We've shared versions of this in the past. But for those being asked to make a quilt for others, sharing this with them may give them a clue what they are asking. Note that skilled labor at $10/hr while kids get $15 to ask if you want fries wit dat,is painful. And some of these fabric and batting prices are on the low side, IMHO.
