These beauties are the latest addition to our menu here in Ojai (they are already available at our Ventura Cafe) They are Fig Hazelnut with a scratch made bourbon molasses glaze. Thanks to Liz and our friends @frontside_cafe for raising our pastry game We’ll be slowly adding items over the next few weeks and months

We’re throwing a party!! Bring your wheels (roller skates, bikes, scooters -you choose!) and celebrate 11 years of Beacon (5 in Ojai!) We’re closing our lot and friends @stallionswild will be spinning the tunes, @wandererpizza will be slinging pies and @sanders_and_sons_gelato will be serving up scoops of their delicious house made offerings. Our Ventura Cafe will be CLOSED on both Monday and Tuesday. Our Ojai shop will stop serving at Noon so our crew can celebrate as well. Both locations will be CLOSED ON TUESDAY so our whole team can have the day off. We hope to see all of you on Monday and don’t forget your dancing wheels!

Covid has been a real beast. Despite all our best efforts: keeping our shops open to only staff- curbside only, and strict protocols we are sad to report that one of our team members in Ventura has tested positive. This location will remain closed while all staff there are tested and results are returned. Please continue to wear your masks, social distance, wash your hands and do your part to keep us all as healthy as possible. Thank you all for your support and understanding.

Its Collective pickup weekend!! Our production worked all week long to prepare your coffees in time for the weekend. It was our biggest yet! We are so grateful for all of our coffee loving members who geek out just as much as we do with each coffee we release. This weeks releases are a custom espresso blend created for our espresso members only: ‘Headwaters’ a blend of our oldest and newest relationship, @haciendalaminita ‘Del Sol’ (oldest) + @cafemarcoffee ‘s San Martin Day ...Lot (newest) sourced on our last origin trip a year ago this week. The Roasters Choice release features Noruega from The Silva’s @sicafecoffee . Thanks to our friends @institutionales for dropping off the first canning of their awesome beer (that has our delicious La Materredonda estate in it) Its usually exclusively served on tap only but now you can enjoy it at home. Some good news to end the year: We’ll be open tomorrow at both shops 7am-2pm. Everything has been sanitized from floor to ceiling and we’ll be firing up the roaster tomorrow to restock shelves. Thank you all for your kind words, support and love. It’s time to say goodbye to 2020 and invite the New Year with open arms. *Please note on New Years Day we will be opening an hour later than usual: 8am-2pm at both locations*
