Our Anger Management Class is a simple but powerful Intervention. What we witness on a weekly basis is that our students are growing quickly. They are learning to recognize their mounting frustration and better understand the drawbacks of their previous communication styles. In so doing, with the exercises and psycho-education that we provide, they are able to engage their loved ones and colleagues in much more productive dialogues. They are discovering that by demonstra...ting this increased self-awareness and interest in an honest communication process, the "others" (loved ones and colleagues) are naturally responding in a more cooperative manner, thereby allowing both parties to feel better understood. TEENS HELPING TEENS - WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM US The goal is to help teens develop better coping skills so that they don't feel compelled to cut or burn themselves, abuse drugs, or break the law. It's also a place to help overcome shyness and social anxiety disorder, which is crippling for teens and often leads to bullying and teasing.... Teens will learn to make better decisions, gain new friends, feel better, improve communications with family and discuss tough topics. $30 per session/12 weeks. Fridays 5 pm - 6:30 pm.
