Greenhand Leadership Conferences introduce students to the benefits and opportunities in agricultural education, including Supervised Agricultural Experiences and FFA. The conference concentrates on diversity and inclusion in both Ag Education and FFA. This year, California FFA canceled GLC due to COVID-19. Rather than give the conference via Zoom like many FFA Chapters, BCHS FFA gave the new members something tangible and personal. The BCHS FFA Leadership Team developed four rotational workshops which all students participated in. The officer team and leadership class thoroughly enjoyed facilitating this conference and look forward to first year FFA students using their knowledge gained to further develop the Ag program. #honoringgodhelpingstudentssoar #bchsffa #ffagreenhandleadershipconference

We're excited to welcome our students back on campus as they start the 2nd semester. Our Study Hall students are given freedom with accountability to choose any location on campus to study.

In Mr. Joseph's class, art is not just another extracurricular. Students pour their hearts into their work and we are the beneficiaries. If anyone on campus needs to be uplifted or inspired, all are welcomed in to enjoy the expressions in paint anytime they feel the urge. This Christmas, as different as it seems, our Staff Appreciation Committee has once again helped our faculty and staff "feel the love." We count ourselves blessed with each sweet gift they extend to us! Hebrews 10:24 "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds..."

Twas the week before finals and all through the school, students were masked as to not break a rule. Teachers and Alumni brought much needed cheer, it made everyone feel the Spirit was here. Music and laughter were just what was needed,... while socially distancing Santa was greeted. Christmas break will surely be welcomed with joy, as we celebrate the birth of a perfect baby boy. Luke 2:10-11 "But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord."

The privilege to worship freely at BCHS has always been a cornerstone of our school ministry. While we knew moving our chapel outdoors to protect our students was the right thing to do, we couldn't have predicted how wonderful it would be. We've missed our worship band, and the opportunity to gather together for a message of encouragement. Thank you to Mr. Buetow for the reminder that we aren't merely back on campus, but we are here with great purpose. #honoringgodhelpingstudentssoar

We have so much to be thankful for. A beautiful, spacious campus, teachers who are willing to go the extra mile, students adjusting to new guidelines, and a God who watches over us and makes all things possible. We are grateful to be back at school!
