Just as Josh was about to jump in the water to swim a line in, an 8’ Great White Shark swam within 5’ of our stern. Needless to say was waited for a ride in by the lifeguards on a wave runner.

We had a Long day today cleaning up this mess. Great job Captains Tony Olson, Travis Basom, Josh Nidzieko, Casey Fodo and the entire my entire haz mat cleanup crew.

Captains Tony Olson and Casey Fodo has to pull this vessel out of the surf before we lifted it onto a trailer. The vessel was used in an illegal run. The people were caught by CBP.

Captain Travis Basom responded to this capsized vessel off North Coronado Island. Nobody was hurt but the big swell caught them by surprise as a wave broke over the transom filling the boat and capsizing in almost instantaneously. Captain Travis righted the boat and towed in back to San Diego. The mariners were rescued by a vessel fishing nearby. Travis got the marines on board and delivered them safely to shore. We just got word that South Shore ramp will be open also

Here is the latest from the Port of San Diego.

The official word has been given and boating in San Diego will open back up. Please be aware of the restrictions and do your best to follow the rules and protocol. Our hope is the waterways stay open for good. If we act responsibly this will be no problem. When launching your boat be aware of the other boaters.
