Prop 19’s new changes will apply to you if you are: 55 years old or older Disabled A natural disaster victim... Living in a natural disaster zone Prop 19 will make a few changes to the way property tax basis transfers are handled. These changes are beneficial for those listed above, allowing you to transfer your property tax basis to a new property of any value, anywhere in California.
