Patient of the week!! Allergies and asthma he's 6 years old now he's been on medication since he was 2 the picture shows him holding 10 medications he was on w...hen he first came in 10 days ago.. In his moms own words. Since Benjamin was 2 he's been sick consistently. The doctors originally said he had sickness induced asthma. Eventually the medicine he was supposed to take when sick became daily. From occasional to daily every four hours and multiple times throughout the (sleeping hours) of the night. He was sick all of the time alternating between fevers and coughs. Severe teeth grinding in his sleep and eight teeth needing major dental work. Several years of ER visits and Dr visits multiple times a week and chronic illnesses. Sometimes oxygen levels were extremely low. There were times he needed steroid shots in his legs. Eventually they said he needs albuterol and steroid nebulizer as well as allergy meds daily. Then his last sickness he wasn't making it to the four hour mark and the meds were no longer working. Just to get him to stop gasping I'd do two treatments back to back. They added a new inhaler to his routine and sent us on our way. This has been going on for four years. Having to keep a notepad of schedules from all the alternating medicines. A week and a half ago I took him to see Dr Rettig. The next two days after his first visit his asthma got really bad and I was giving him treatments every three hours again with 1 am and 5 am treatments. Third day dropped it down to 3 treatments the fourth day. FIVE FAYS AFTER HIS FIRST VISIT NO MORE MEDS!!. No asthma, steroid, allergy or cough suppressants. He has been off of all medications for 6 days. Thanks Candace!! What a great story this should never have had to happen asthma allergies infections are all symptoms if you take your child to a medical doctor and they receive medication for these symptoms they will never go away it will always come back the only way to get your child help is to treat your child and help them regain their health! It makes me sick to my stomach that there's clinics out there that just treat allergies and asthma and once they start taking their medications their liver become so toxic and their adrenals become so dysfunctional the only way to get them healthy again is to undo the treatment they received prior. When you read the story and you see his symptoms got worse it's because his liver was so toxic with anti-histamine's and steroids. I had to give him six whole food supplements and adjust him twice. He no longer has allergies or asthma now we have to get him to grow because the steroids inhibited his growth. Please share this with friends and family members that are giving their children antihistamines steroids inhalers and everything else to try to quench the symptoms of allergies and asthma!
