Saturday, September 20-- Bayfront's first ever athletic event: Flag Football against High Tech High. Two of the big highlights: 1) Frankie's TD pass to Ulises; and 2) Our awesome cheer team!!!

Students have selected our mascot out of a field of 64 possible candidates. It could have been a disaster (Woodchucks, Jellyfish, Surfers, Platypus, Narwhals, and Nemos, all thankfully eliminated!!!) They made a ferocious choice... just in time for...

We polled our students on what they want the mascot for Bayfront CHS to be. Then we had Round One of a "64 Team Mascot Face-Off". Today 32 teams duked it out in Round Two and the winners (as determined by student votes) go to the Sweet 16 tomorrow. Still alive: the Seahawks, Bullsharks, Pumas and Jaguars-- among others! What was your high school mascot???
