Batter Bakery

This season was a doozy. Challenging in ways we’ve never experienced before, with e-commerce demand through the roof, supply chain problems, logistical hurdles, and safety restrictions swirling around our usual hectic holiday time. Finally had a chance to open this @bayareanewsgroupcompany article up and read it in person, now that we are closed for our holiday break. Lucky enough to have photos taken by my own @kidcalifornia , who helped setup my cookie demo studio, snapp...ed these (calm looking ) portraits, and left the Christmas tree lights on for me to come home to at 1am most nights. Thanks to @goodeggs for delivering Batter goodies throughout the Bay Area, and to @usps.official and @fedex for carrying our packages nationwide. Time for a week or so to rest and regroup!

Everyone loves a good brownie, but let's talk about one of the most under appreciated Batter baked goods, our BLONDIES! Now, often blondies are cloyingly sweet (think fake butterscotch chips), pretty devoid of flavor, and just, well, meh. THESE blondies have layers of flavor from @equatorcoffees espresso, bittersweet @guittardchocolate, and @jacobsensaltco. They have textural oomph from @onceagainnutbutter almond butter and organic whole wheat flour.... They have juuust enough brown sugar to make them nice and chewy, and a sprinkling of toasty almonds to finish them off These will change your mind about blondies, even if you already love blondies.
