Adventure! Crime! Romance! Sci-Fi! Hollywood! Pulp Playhouse played to sold out crowds when it premiered in 1988. It would go on to become a major influence on improv in San Francisco. This performance features some of the original players, on stage together for the first time in over 30 years. Inspired by the pulp magazines of the early 20th century, a cast of fabulous, vivid and wild characters will tell you stories of adventure, crime, romance and more. Streaming live from the pulps to your home, you won't want to miss this epic reunion show.

*DON’T MISS THIS REUNION SHOW*Pulp Playhouse presents Tales of Adventure! Crime! Romance! Sci-Fi! Hollywood! The weekend of April 23, 1988 marked Pulp Playhouse's first performance 32 years ago. The genre was Horror. On April 23, 1988 Pulp Playhouse, an improvisational theatre group, performed their first show to a sold out house at the Eureka Theater. Pulp Playhouse drew inspiration from the Pulp magazines that captured the American imaginatio...n in the 30’s and 40’s. Pulp Playhouse was the darling of the theater scene in the late 80’s. PP performed at 11 pm allowing actors to finish their show and come see late night improv at the Eureka Theater. The late night theater scene was hot at that time. Remember Mona Rodgers On Friday November 6, 8pm five of the original cast of improvisers will bring Pulp Playhouse show to the BATS virtual stage with tales of Adventure, Crime, Romance, Science Fiction and Hollywood tales. Rafe Chase, O-Lan Jones, Brian Lohmann, Micheal McShane and Regina Saisi The original PP cast featured Stephanie Hunt, Reed Kirk Rahlmann, Paul Killiam, Diane Rachel and Stephen Kearin
