Hot Air Balloon Makers by @sam_born_stein in which it appears hot air balloons are birthed from bigger hot air balloons.

@giannadispenza’s Portrait of a Swimmer has all the smudged, smoothed, and smeared qualities we hope to feel after jumping in a lake this summer.

This one by @sam_born_stein got snatched up immediately and it’s easy to see why. Nearly all of Sam’s drawings in this collection seem to concern cyclical and iterative labor, something that he also reflects on in his process.

Hands and Monstera by @giannadispenza can almost make you feel good about only having house plants to cuddle.
