As the second wave in COVID-19 cases increased the need for critical patient care at Barton Health, access to critical care specialists became increasingly important. To address this need, Barton Health has formed a partnership with Eagle Telemedicine, a team of experts including intensivists and specialists that expand access to a higher level of care when patients need it most. https://www.facebook.com/bartonhealth/publishing_tools/

The arrival of the COVID-19 vaccine gives us a sense of hope and relief, said Dr. Clint Purvance, President & CEO at Barton Health. It provides our healthcare workers with an important level of protection, in addition to personal protective equipment, surge operations, and other steps Barton takes to protect our team. We look forward to the continued rollout of the vaccination with state and county public health partners. https://www.bartonhealth.org//barton-health-begins-covid19

Today is a monumental day as we administered the first round of Pfizer vaccines to our frontline healthcare workers. This brings hope as we begin building immunity to combat this pandemic, and ultimately continue providing safe and high quality care to our patients. Vaccine administration to our healthcare workers and skilled nursing residents will take place over the coming weeks. Accessing outdoor activities during the pandemic is more important than ever - not just for our physical health, but for our mental health as well. With outdoor sports comes the risk of injury and one of the most vulnerable joints to these injuries is the knee. Some injuries are unavoidable but others can be avoided and risks can be minimized with proper preparation. #SportsMedFriday https://www.bartonhealth.org//winter-knee-injury-and-preve
