Hola! Back in the saddle again..crazy week..appointments all over the map..I felt like bowling shoes looking to fill an empty cubby..that was then..this is now. Back in the shop..back to work..thank you all..again..for your patience..having said.. bring it on. For those of you holding artwork for my return..now's the time..would love busy hands. Would have also loved being eighteen feet tall..blue..an atomic symbol gracing my forehead and the most perfect glutes...not that this was promised..it was..however..infered. None the less..let's get this party started..busting to see you again.

Hi guys. First..I'd like to apologize to you all for my "sometimes open" schedule and share what's happening to cause this. A little over a month ago I was diagnosed with stage 1 lung cancer...oddly enough the best part of bad news. Since then I've been to see many doctors..nurses..vampires.. technologists...tests test and more test..as you read this I'm sporting waterproof decals sos they'll know where to shoot the radiation...which comes next..for a week begining May 25t...h. I'll be taking time off mostly because they've scheduled appointments so caddiwhompus..leaving me an hour here two hours there. I will pop in to check messages and pick-up mail. A friend will be watching the store but cannot help you as he knows little about framing and everything about friendships. Changing hours of operation temporarily...I hope. Health issues...nothing contagious I assure you... I'll open at 8 am and close around 4 pm...I'll try to be more flexible...call ahead please..still following pandemic guidelines. Still a frame shop..still a framer..grab your stuff and get in here. Happy new year....I'm feeling it...gonna be better..less stressful...more who we are..less what we've been..growth. Hard...worth it. Keep that and those closer..it's become so important. Hi guys...long time no post..so here it is. Winter hours.. I've decided to change morning opening time from 7:30 to 8:00 for two reasons..one..the 7:00 bus has gone rogue and is no longer reliable and so I sit...cold..maybe wet..waiting for a more conscientious driver for 30 to 45 minutes..no mas. Second ...too many drivers are still asleep behind the wheel and blast thru red lights making street crossings an olympic event...it's lighter at 8. New hours..new days..holidays are coming on fast..please be mindful of shipping/mailing times and give us time to meet your schedule. Most of all....be well..be safe...this too shall pass...let's play it smart. Masks. Distancing. No drinking from the milk carton...take care.

First and foremost I'd like to give a tremendous shout-out to my many supporters who've helped me make picture framing more than a hobby..you all rock. Thanks for supporting small businesses..for supporting Oakland and for staying true to me. Heads up..can't say it enough..my day off has changed. In order to accommodate my venders..who will only deliver to Oakland on Wednesdays...I am now open Wednesdays..Monday..Tuesday.. Wednesday..Friday and Saturday.. Closed Thursday and Sunday.
