As I close this chapter in my life, my buyer Nick Corona of Five Suits Brewing has said that he will keep 4 taps dedicated to Barrel Harbor Brewing beers. This ...is your opportunity to provide the input as to what beers they will be. Please take this survey for me and the top four will be chosen. Nick will have access to any of my recipes, so maybe he may decide to rotate some seasonal beers, while keep all time favorites (did I say Fenris IPA) on tap year round. Due to current restrictions from the California Government, we will be closed until breweries are allowed to be reopened. We will be watching the information from the state and open as soon as we have the all clear!

BREAKING NEWS, I am sure by now you have all read the Westcoaster Article released today. This deal with Nick is going to be a wonderful thing. And Barrel Harbor will survive in a small way, Fenris IPA will continue to be available and I will be sharing the rights and the recipe with Nick (along with a couple of "not in the recipe tricks" that make it what you have come to love. Nick also wants the have Blunderbuss back on tap as one of the core Barrel Harbor Beers, as well a...s Sirin Pale Ale. We are still working out which the 4th should be (Maybe the La Perla Negra Black IPA?) though I will be handing him any recipe he wants so they can be available. The Barrel Harbor Mug club is also going to be honored so you can get a tasty mug of Fenris as normal. I will need you help as loyal customers to continue to come in and support us as we work through the regulatory filings to make this official which we expect towards the end of April or early May, I still have the bills to pay so please don't be strangers. We still have many events on the books, with Comedy nights, Boy Scout Fundraisers, Thursday night darts and more. Please come in and have a pint with me, maybe toss some darts on Thursdays. I am not real good, but I don't completely suck either ;-) This was not an easy decision, but if you have been following my journey it is the best possible outcome that could happen after the Miramar tasting room "partnership" and keeps the business whole, and adds a whole new level of awesome beers for your pleasure. Nick is a very accomplished home brewer, and I will be there in the brew house making sure we get his home brews scaled up on my system so he hits his mark on every one of them.
