ALUMNI UPDATE We adopted Hamilton from Barks of Love on March 7, 2014. Being a first time dog owner he has brought such joy to us and is such a part of our family. ... He loves to do everything with us and we take him wherever we are legally allowed to bring him. He loves Home Depot, Lowes the Pet store and the San Clemente Outlets where he is welcome and loves taking selfies with the family. We also bring him to the dog beach and walks along the San Clemente Beach trail. HELP NEEDED! Sweet Coco is a 10 year old GSD we recently rescued from a local shelter. While in the care of her foster parents she was beginning to come out of her shell, showing her sweet and gentle nature. But then, she suddenly developed bloat and had to be rushed to the emergency vet where she required surgery. Although she is now recovering at our vet, we unfortunately don't know what her long term care and prognosis will be. This strong girl has made great strides this ...past week and is up and walking around, she is starting to eat on her own and she is demanding all the attention she deserves from the vet staff! As soon as she is ready she will head back to a foster home to finish her recovery. Although we held a pre-scheduled event that helped raise $2,000 towards her care, her surgery was about $4,000 and aftercare will be another minimum $1,000. If you are able to contribute a small amount to sweet Coco, we would be forever grateful. This girl is so deserving and we just want to provide her with the best care so she can live out her days happy and healthy. Please consider donating just $5 to a sweet senior in need.
