Bert and Ernie's kids where having a little fun experimenting with the broom standing on it's own for the day. 3 different rooms and 3 different brooms. The kids are having a blast figuring this out.

We had a visit from the Dixon Fire Dept today after our super fast and very organized fire drill. They shared with us about what they do, fire safety and showed us their gear. Thank you for being super amazing Dixon Fire and thank you for coming out and answering all of our awesome questions.

Lt. Malone from the Dixon Police came to our school today to talk to us about safety and police work. The kids had such a good time, thank you so much! Also, our After School Program raised money in support of the police this summer with a lemonade stand then took a field trip to the station to give what they raised to them with a thank you book. When they got there, they expected to hand it over and say thank you but.....they were given an amazing tour of the department! Thank you so much Dixon PD.

Our after-school program raised money for our First Responders of Dixon by selling lemonade! Thank you to all who showed up and supported Bert and Ernie's fundraiser. Thank you to the police officers who also showed up. Our students had so much fun!
