Looks like something is happening out the window of room 201. What would it be?

Don't forget that the Bay Bridge will be closed Wednesday at 8pm! Bart is running 24 hours a day to get you from San Francisco, and a taxi to and from SFO airport will cost a bit more, and take a longer time. Here is a brief history of the old and new eastern span.

Room 203's theme belongs to the UC Berkeley Department of Music. Their event space, Hertz Hall, has an amazing schedule of events, and boasts a free noon time concert, every Wednesday during the school year. After the concert stop off at Freehouse for a bit to eat after the show.

Room 202 has a beautiful shared balcony, with it's neighbor 201. Haas School of Business - UC Berkeley is the theme of this cute room, and boast views of the UC Berkeley's Campanile, and Bancroft Way. Did you know that Haas is the oldest business school at a public institution in the United States? Also their business incubator program, now in downtown Berkeley, used to be in our basement offices. Such sucessful companies as Indiegogo, Go Overseas, & Tweedle Tech got their start right here at the Bancroft. While you are there, check out our cafe Fifo Café, for some quick eats.

Room 201 is one of our larger rooms, and has a huge shared balcony with room 202. It's also dedicated to the Mathematics department at UCBerkeley. This room is perfect for families that need a bit more space for a roll away cot.

Just another typical wedding reception here at the Bancroft!

Rooms 303, and 305 have photos of the University of California Botanical Garden at Berkeley. These two rooms, have a shared balcony, with planter boxes planted with California native plants. Thank goodness we didn't plant a Maladora, (pictured) commonly known as a corpse plant, for it's...unique...smell. This flower blooms only once every few years, and then only for a few days. Ask for our complimentary day passes to check out one of the most beautiful spots in Berkeley.

Room 205 is dedicated to our other neighbors across the street, UC Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall). Founded in 1894, it has become one of the top ten law schools in the country. If you're visiting up there stop by our sister business, Cafe Zeb!

Room 310 has photos of so many talented Cal Bears athletes. Stay and park here for one of the football games, or to enjoy baseball season which is fast approaching.
