Picture on the left is what it’s supposed to look like, picture on the right is what you don’t want. First time we have seen this on an s2000. Best guess we can make, is the mechanic was putting back in the rocker arm assembly and one of the rockers wasn’t positioned correctly. Breaking the lost motion assy / vtec spring when they bolted it down. Next photo you can see the spring broken. Sucks now for our customer since he has to buy a new head to fix it.

Follow up to our Ballade 2.5lb lithium ion battery! We made a 1/2lb battery tray to complete the conversion! Made to fit the Ballade Sports 2.5lb lithium ion battery. We constructed a CNC mounting bracket for the S2000, made with a 6061 aluminum base along with a grade 5 Titanium tie down. J hooks and hardware together with battery come in at a 3lbs and 0.1oz. Just a hair over 3lbs dead.
