Just a reminder that we are still here to help you with your pets needs. We are not having anyone in our lobby as of right now, and are asking clients to stay outside in their cars. Please call when you arrive to the hospital and stay outside, we will come out and take your pet in with us for treatment and bring them out when finished. We can take payment over the phone so we can limit the interaction and exposure to others. Our facility is cleaned after every patient and we ...are taking all precautions to make sure we are protected as well as our clients. As we have stated before, if you are sick or if you have been tested positive for COVID-19 (Sars-cov-2/corninavirus)or been around a positively tested individual, please do not bring your pets in yourself. Designate a person who has not had exposure to the virus to bring your pets in. We have no definitive evidence that COVID-19 can be transmitted to your pets. We know there are articles floating around on the internet about this information, but encourage you to please refer to the AVMA website (https://www.avma.org/res/animal-health-and-welfare/covid-19) for information regarding animals and COVID-19. To be safe, the AVMA and experts have instructed anyone who has been exposed or has tested positive for the virus to limit exposure to your pets and designate someone who is not sick to take care of them. If this is not an option, please do not kiss, pet, or feed your pet from your plates and utensils. If you have to interact with your pet make sure your hands are clean and wear a cloth mask. As always, we are here to help and appreciate your cooperation and understanding while we navigate how to address you and your pets' needs during this time.
