Bakersfield Burrito Project

Last Sunday of the year! We are so grateful for all the help we have received throughout the year! What a year. We are still grieving the loss of Jason @zzyzzxzzyx . B is going to school full time and holding down two jobs but we are doing this EVERY Sunday, rain or shine. Thank you @caminoed @bakersfieldpizzaco , @tacoslavillamexicangrill , @goldenempiregleaners , @panerabread Wesley UMC, @andraegonzales and all all volunteers we keep on keeping on because of you. #inlakech

Thank you Kern Family Health Care for your generous grant ! We will now be able to provide hygiene itmes to those on the street of Bakersfield. We also plan to buy some socks and other essential clothing items. We are grateful for volunteers like @jannarinaldi who help us write proposals. No one can ever replace Jason. Busy weekend for the burrito bunch! Thank you all who help us help others. Thank you @tacoslavillamexicangrill providing us with tortillas to make our burritos! Thanks to our local @panerabread for donating bread and thank you for the kind people at Wesley's United Methodist Church who help get the bread to us and for the use of the WUMC kitchen; our second home. Thank you @bakersfieldpizzaco for generously donating ! We can't wait to be able to take the whole Burrito Bunch in for a sit down meal. For now we are happy with our take our and delivery service! You guys rock! Thank you @goldenempiregleaners for renting us officr space. We are fortunate to have this space. AND A REALLY BIG THANK YOU TO #kernfamilyhealthcare #KFHC for your awesome grant to help us make hygiene kits and get essential clothing for our homeless community.
