Today, Officer Phia Vang was transported from the Fresno County Coroners office to a mortuary in nearby Selma. Fresno Police Officers assigned to work with Phi...a carried his flag draped casket to the hearse for transport where he was then escorted by a Law Enforcement family that truly respected and cared about him. We want to thank our fellow Law Enforcement family from the CHP, Fresno Sheriff’s Dept. Selma PD and the State Center Community College District Police Dept. who assisted with the escort. We are eternally grateful for your support of one of our fallen. I also need to express my utmost appreciation to the dedicated and professional staff of the Fresno County Coroners office who took care of Phia. We thank you all.
