Goooood Fishing on Mission Belle in San Diego early last week!! Bite is still strong and getting better!! Bluefins were very active on this trip. Over all very good Tuna Fishing.... Limit of Bluefin Tuna and more, which shared with Anglers that didn't get any. Mostly used Phenix Black Diamond 909H & Daiwa Lexa HD400 & Trinidad 16NA with 50lb Spectra topped with 30lb Seagaur Gold Label. Flylining Sardine for first 2~3 cast and switched to 2~3oz rubber band setting when they dive down. Sardines were little bit bigger than last year, so used Owner Ringed Mutu Hybrid #1 or 1/0, and Blacktail Mutsu #1. A lot of Tunas are out there, good time to go out and catch them.
