Born August 25, 1949, actor John Savage. Known for films The Deer Hunter and Hair, I think his greatest performance was in The Onion Field, based on Joseph Wanbaugh's book. I already owned a copy of the book signed by Wambaugh, and had Mr. Savage add his name when I met him.
