Electroacupuncture involves an electrical lead being attached to dry needles and connected to an electroacupuncture machine. A current is sent through the needles to the tissue, and the machine allows for specific control of frequency and amplitude in order to achieve the desired response (i.e. muscle relaxation). ... This is a great choice for horses with chronic musculoskeletal issues, back and neck pain, headshaking syndrome, muscle atrophy, and many other conditions!
