Hello again, Well papa and I have been cleaning up the minor finds from the house inspection. Every time he brings out his big screw driver I grab it and run. He doesn’t like it very much but, I’m just trying to help out. He has a little termite repairs but nothing big. The house should close the second week in December. I guess it will be Christmas up at Uncle Steve’s in Washington this year. We still have a lot of coordination to do before all the furniture is going to ...where it has to go. I’m really looking forward to the drive up north. Also, the long drive back East. Maybe I’ll be able to write about the long trip with papa and who ever else helps with the drive. Momma and Nana are going to fly. They won’t let me fly. They said that I would have to be put in a crate and placed with the suitcases. No way, I’m not going to do that. There was talk about me being shipped with TLC pet shipping. I don’t want to be that long without papa. Someone has to watch out for papa. Who better than me. His best friend. Hello again, Good news. Papa finally sold our home. It is in escrow now. So, this should be our last Thanksgiving dinner in our home. I can’t wait for our trip to uncle Steve’s in Washington state. We should be there for Christmas this year. Then it is off to Virginia in May. I can’t wait to play with my buddy Huell. Now papa will have more time to spend with me. He will have to quit working and start planning the move.... Take care, Bailey

Hello all, Well it is almost November and the house still hasn’t sold. Papa has had offers but not at the price he is asking. We are not in a hurry, so the price will stay firm. I am getting excited about the move. Papa and I are going to go for walks every day and play in the parks. He says that I can go down to old town with him whenever I want and we can eat at the dog friendly restaurants there.... One thing I am worried about is those little boots that he bought me. I do not know why I will need them. Papa is talking about there being snow. What is snow? I’ve lived in California all my life and I never heard about snow. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see about this snow. I have to go now so I’ll keep in touch. Take care, Bailey

Hello friends, Well, today is Sunday and momma’s birthday. We were supposed to have an open house today but momma is sick so we had to cancel. Papa brought home some flowers and a card with money in it for momma’s birthday. The house has an offer and we countered now we are just waiting on the answer. Sure is... Frustrating having all these open houses. We have to clean everything up and get out of the house. I don’t mind so much because I get hamburger patties when we go down town to eat during the open houses. I sure hope the house sells. Then we can go to uncle Steve’s house until his condo is free to rent. This downsizing sure has been hard. And with papa still working I don’t get to play with him much. But, he promised me we would go to the park everyday in Alexandria, Virginia. I have to go now. Take care and I will keep you updated on our big adventure. Bark at you later. Bailey

Hello again, I haven’t written in awhile. Papa’s not been feeling well. He did something to his back that caused a big bulge to appear on his left side. He has been to four doctors and had an ultra sound, two CAT scans, laprascoptic surgery, and a MRI and still doesn’t know what it is. The doctors believe it might be a pinched nerve in his back caused by a bulging disk. All I can do is watch him and stay up at night with him when he can’ t sleep,... He finally finished his book ‘August Moon’ which is for sale on Amazon. I can’t wait for Papa to read it to me. He said that he is going to write about our trip back East this fall.
