My cat used to sleep in empty fruit boxes that I would empty as I was making the smoothies I sling. If they happened to be located in the sun, so much the better, but she loved those boxes. When she died, I decided to make her a little shrine. It sits on the chair she used to hide under, coming out only to catch the sun's rays as they traveled across the floor.

Hillary hacked - AGAIN
I named her Serendipity because it's a reminder of how things always come together just when they are supposed to. This was *ahem* COMMISSIONED (hint hint rich sugar daddies) for my friend and her family where it will (hopefully) soon have little yart friends to play with.
Yart, take flight!
I'm in transition (again), I hope to be situated somewhere soon where I can continue practicing my craft. I appreciate all the support you have given me. Thank you. :)
This little Yart found a home at last! I say this because even among Yarts, this guy was a runt. I don't dislike any of my Yarts. To me they're like offspring. Letting go of one is as much a part of the process as creating it was.
I tend to try different approaches, techniques and mediums. Here are pictures of either early Yarts or Yarts in the design and fabrication stages of development.
Meet Victor... another Yart that found a home inside the house, like Flora. Victor sings of battles won (and lost), and enjoying an ice cold one at the end of the day. Whether you fight for country, God or money, bottoms up! This one's for you. I dedicate this to Steven Prentice. Hero, Marine, Nephew.
I'm a little jealous of this guy :)
An 8-year old girl standing authoritatively, dressed in regal garb, ordering her dolls to comply, was the inspiration for this Yart, aptly named Princess.
